When We Are Closedtelephone_brown

If you require urgent medical treatment outside of normal surgery hours please call 01375 393388 to contact the out-of-hours service.

Patients can also call 111 for the NHS advice line.

The service introduced to handle out of hours calls is now well established. Doctors and qualified nurse practitioners are available to offer medical advice over the telephone and advise whether you need an appointment at the out-of-hours centre or, if necessary, a home visit.

Suitable travel arrangements can be made if you have difficulty in travelling to the centre.

Please note that all telephone calls may be recorded.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
