Community Midwives

Based in the hospital, the midwives visit both before and after the birth of your baby and hold clinics at the surgery.  The ante natal clinics are run by the midwives although there is always a doctor available if required. Patients are always invited to have a post natal check six- eight weeks post-natally which will be carried out by a doctor.

If you think you may be pregnant please book an appointment with your doctor and he will advise you what you need to do.
